When I had to choose the agency where I would practice real estate, there was no question it would be Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Douglas Elliman surpasses other agencies in every possible way: more listings, more agents, more offices, more sales, the most extensive marketing reach—and in the Mattituck office, the rock-solid reputation of over 50 years of real estate sales experience. Homeowners may have to decide what agency to use once or twice in their lifetime, but when agents make the decision to practice with a particular agency, the choice made has a direct impact on their reputation and credibility, so it is not a decision that is made lightly.
I am a long-time East End resident, formerly from Dix Hills. My family is one of the pioneers of Long Island’s wine industry: we established Bidwell Vineyards in Cutchogue in 1982. After working in Manhattan in the publishing and advertising industries as a graphic designer and illustrator, I started my own textbook design and illustration business in 1993. This experience is invaluable in marketing my clients’ property to attract the attention of both the agent community and potential buyers.
My family and I live in Aquebogue. I serve on the Board of Directors of Hallockville Museum Farm and the Long Island Mineral and Geology Society. I have also served on the Long Island Board of Realtors and the North Fork Community Theatre, where I’ve produced, directed, and performed in numerous productions. I helped to create a dog park in Southold, and served on Riverhead Town Board’s Dark Skies Advisory Committee. This committee worked along with the Town Board to create a residential and commercial lighting code that ensures Riverhead maintains its rural character—the primary reason so many people move to the North Fork. There is no question I love this area, and my dedication and enthusiasm are what helps me to sell homes here!
